What To Expect at Rives Chapel...

When You Arrive:

• You will find that there are Handicap Parking spaces near the front of the sanctuary. The Handicap Ramp is located beside the office entrance and leads to the sanctuary. There is also ample parking available for everyone in our parking lot

• We have directional signs to assist you with directions around our campus. However, we are a family here at Rives Chapel and any one of our members will gladly assist you if you ask them for their guidance

Dress Code:

• At Rives Chapel Baptist you will discover that clothing style is not the major emphasis of our worship. Some choose to dress more formally, while others choose to wear more casual type clothing. We ask that you please wear the style of clothing that you feel is appropriate and comfortable for you to worship God

Service Times:

• Wednesday night- 7:00 p.m.
  • Prayer meeting followed by a message from our Pastor
• Sunday School- 10:00 a.m. 
  • We offer an assortment of age groups, ranging from a nursery to senior adult classes, to meet your needs
• Sunday Worship Service- 11:00 a.m. 
  • Beginning with a  welcome and brief announcements of upcoming events
  • We offer a traditional style worship service that meets the needs of our contemporary world
  • We sing a praise song to formally open our worship, which is then followed by a time of prayer

Flow of Events:

• All children are invited to come down front for  a Children's Sermon every Sunday for our children Pre-K-Grade 5

• This special time is followed by a congregational hymn as we take up our weekly offering

• Rives Chapel has been blessed with many wonderful musicians and we love to share their talents with our congregation and guests  as we praise and worship  God  through music. Our choir sings a special music selection each week and often we have one of our talented musicians come forward and share their talents with us as well

• Our pastor will then bring a message to you from the Bible that is designed to be engaging, informing and applicable to your life

• At the conclusion of each service there will be a hymn of invitation sung by the congregation and an invitation will be given for anyone to  make any desired spiritual decisions during this time

What Makes Us Unique:

• At Rives Chapel, we do not usually leave the church grounds immediately. Many of our members will congregate in the parking area after services and enjoy the fellowship of their brothers and sisters in Christ. You are invited to stay and meet our members as you become better acquainted with our church
